Ahoy CHESSS!
As part of our new "winter engagement" offerings, we wanted to keep up informally with our sailing friends. As such, you are invited to our first CHESSS Tipple 'n Sup (drinks and dinner) on January 17th at 6pm at Broadneck Cantina, 1364 Cape St Claire Rd, Annapolis, MD 21409. When you arrive, tell the hostess your with Doug Ellmore from Chesapeake Shorthanded Sailing Society. Our area likely will be in to the right before the hostess station.
We will try to gather up between 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm. Then we can get orders in starting around 6 pm and shortly after. Feel free to come in a little later if you can make it. I likely will try to home around 8pm.
The goal is to maintain social connections during the dark winter months, discuss sailing goals and boat projects. This is a social gathering, not a formal presentation. The hope is to maintain healthy social interactions during the doldrums of winter.
There is no fee and Broadneck Grill will do separate checks to keep finances straight between friends.
Feel free to invite any sailing friends or crew who may be curious about CHESSS.
Pending feedback, we hope to gather once per month during the winter through April 2023.
