Hey CHESSS Sailors, this is John Z of the Pearson 30 “Old Blue”. I singlehand my boat most of the time and am always looking for fellow singlehanders and/or doublehanders to meet after a full day of sailing. The idea of this Forum is to set up a communication system where you can let like-minded sailors know that you’re planning a spontaneous overnight trip (or whatever) and are looking for company when you arrive at the anchorage.

If you see a good weather window coming up and if you can get out of your other responsibilities, give a shout and let us know. It’s supreme fun to spend a full day under sail all on your own, totally immersed in sailing and then to meet up with like-minded people in the anchorage.

I’ve asked the CHESSS Board to set up this Forum and I’ve offered to be the point man for communications. If you want to receive emails from this forum you have to set that up in your user profile. Here’s how to do it:

1) Go to chesss.clubexpress.com and click Member Login (Upper Right)

2) Click on your name and then click Profile

3) Click Forums – Forum General Preferences

4) Click Send Email; you must do this to receive any Forum emails, then you can go into each Forum to set your Forum Preferences and turn off email for unwanted Forums.

5) Click Save at the bottom of the page
